The MSBA Family Law Section will present an all new topic for Family Law University: Judgment Granted...Now What? Post-Judgment Compliance and Enforcement Issues in Family Law. This program will help attendees identify and anticipate common enforcement or compliance issues when drafting settlement agreements vs. a litigated outcome. Experienced faculty will share best practices for drafting agreements, or crafting your ultimate request for relief to the court/proposed order to avoid compliance and enforcement issues. Finally, there will be a thorough review of available options and methods for enforcement and collection, depending on the obligation in play.
