Join the MSBA for the 2024 Legal Summit Series: L.L.M. to Lawyer: The Illusive Job Hunt for Foreign Law Student on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 2 p.m.

Foreign law school graduates in the United States, especially LL.M face unique challenges compared to their J.D. counterparts. It has been reported that 85% of Harvard LLM graduates don't receive an employment offer after graduation and end up returning to their home country. This program explores:

1. The big law myth for LL.Ms
2.  The issues LL.M students face
3. Why more employers should invest in LL.M graduates
4. How LL.M students are an untapped trove of experience for employers.
5. Are law schools complicit in perpetrating the LLM to BigLaw dream?
