The MSBA is excited to announce the release of Six Minute Trial Skills Series, which is a collection
of six short audio clips derived from our publication Trying the Case by Prof. Steven Grossman.
Each six-minute segment features a seasoned Maryland litigator and covers a key component of a
trial.
The MSBA hopes that litigators will find Six Minute Trial Skills Series to be a useful tool they can
use to hone their trial abilities. The segments available are:
● Opening statements voiced by Ava Lias-Booker, Partner at McGuireWoods LLP
● Direct Examination of a Fact Witness voiced by M. Natalie McSherry, Principal at
Kramon & Graham, P.A. and former MSBA President
