In order for any team to survive and thrive, there must be a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and respect. As the manager of a remote team, developing and promoting this type of culture is an especially important task. When coworkers aren't physically in the same place, there are fewer opportunities to foster interpersonal interaction and connection, so it's important to be proactive and creative when building company culture.
