As a Court-appointed mediator you can encounter cases in which a party has not been well prepared by counsel. This session will offer many practical approaches to ensure your client understands and is comfortable with the dynamics of mediation conferences and how to communicate effectively with the mediator. In addition, there will be a discussion of different considerations in mediation conferences conducted in person compared to sessions conducted remotely on Zoom or other online video platform.
