Join Brian S. Green, an experienced solo practitioner specializing in federal immigration litigation, for an intensive half-day hybrid workshop on filing Petitions for Writ of Habeas Corpus in Federal District Court. This hands-on session will equip immigration attorneys with practical skills to challenge immigration detention, policy decisions, and petition denials in federal court. Mr. Green will guide you step-by-step through the entire process: establishing jurisdiction and venue, properly naming defendants, crafting persuasive legal arguments for various case postures, and navigating the technical requirements of ECF filing. You'll also gain valuable insight into post-filing procedures, including what to expect at hearings and how to effectively prepare for arguments before Federal District Court judges.
Whether you're new to federal habeas litigation or looking to refine your practice, this workshop offers the practical knowledge and real-world guidance you need to confidently represent clients in federal immigration challenges. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from a practitioner with nationwide experience bringing these critical cases.
